Texas BBQ Spicy Wedges
These potato wedges are absolutely delicious and really easy to make.
The black peppercorns, Sea Salt and aromatic Sichuan Pepper blend in our Texas BBQ Rub goes incredibly well with potatoes wedges.
They have a really good kick to them so you might want a cool dip to go with them!
Ingredients: Potatoes (we like Maris Piper), Texas BBQ Rub & Olive Oil
1: Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees fan
Slice the potatoes in half and into wedges.
Pop them into a container and drizzle with olive oil then give them a toss to ensure they are coated in oil.
2: Add a good handful of our Texas BBQ Rub and toss into the container ensuring each piece of potato is evenly coated.
If you need to add more, add more.
3: Lay the wedges out on a baking tray ensuring they have a little space between them.
We don't par-boil the potatoes before cooking & there isn't any need to add any more oil to the tray.
Cook these at the top of the oven for 30-40 minutes until gold and crunchy.
4. These should be spicy, crunchy on the outside & fluffy on the inside.
You can have these as a side dish or a tasty snack. We like these as a snack with a bit of soured cream to dip them in.
